A Short Biography

I was once
told by a fellow black belt at a gathering in honor of Mr. Parker that
"Tomorrow is promised
to no one". How true were those words that his father had
told him. The world
has truly lost a unique and loved individual in Ed Parker. We
will miss his physical
presense, however, we should not forget the many lessons
and
teaching gifts that he bestowed on us
all. American Kenpo was his passion. Our
true
tribute to Ed Parker is to continue
what he once poured his heart and soul into...American Kenpo. The future of
the Art is now ours to continue and expand.
Let
those of us who truly understand what
and how to use the keys of motion,
continue
to share our talents with each other as
he did. "There are two ways to
spread the
light:...One is to be the candle,
the other, is to be the mirror...that
reflects it".
